Security & Access
Zig now supports role-based access for leads and outreach
Workspace admins can control who can see and act on which lead lists and outreach campaigns, instead of every member having the same access. This is the access-control foundation the team has been building toward for weeks.
Customer Ops
Follow-up emails no longer go out without a recipient
GFI flagged a follow-up email that drafted correctly but had no address to send it to. Engineering traced it to a data migration and fixed the root cause, plus a related crash when a contact has no email on file.
Calls & Meetings
Call follow-ups are back on, and reliable
Call-based follow-up emails now route through Zig's core follow-up engine instead of a separate, less reliable path — closing the gap that a Superset user hit on mobile where a great follow-up went out with no recipient. Reps can also add a missing email address inline without leaving the activity feed.
Product
The mobile app is getting polished for Ai4
The team is going through the mobile app end to end ahead of the Ai4 conference — the contact scanner is running faster, and fixes for keyboard and menu-bar display issues on both iOS and Android are in progress.

🔐 Role-Based Access Control Goes Live
Shipped
Workspaces can now assign roles to members that control what they can see and do across lead lists and outreach — admins get a full view, while other roles are scoped to what they own. Workspace member management also got its own settings page.
Led by Sharath
📧 Follow-Up Emails Always Have Somewhere to Go
Shipped
Fixed the root cause of follow-up emails drafting without a recipient address — introduced by an earlier email-model migration — plus a related crash when creating a notes follow-up card for a contact with no email on file.
Led by Sharath
📞 Call Follow-Ups Re-Enabled, Routed Through NBA
Shipped
Call-based follow-up emails now route through Zig's core follow-up (NBA) engine instead of the older, less reliable path, and reps can add a missing recipient email address inline without leaving the activity feed.
Led by Sudhanshu
🔗 Customers Get More Control Over CRM Sync
Shipped
Lead lists can now map their own fields to specific CRM fields instead of using a fixed mapping, and CRM owner assignment for synced contacts and companies can be set explicitly instead of always defaulting to the lead-list owner.
Led by Jaskaran
📬 Inbound Automation Gets More Robust
Shipped
Fixed an issue where incoming contacts weren't reliably added to their linked outreach campaign, cleaned up orphaned research prompts and stray "[Starter]" titles showing up on company pages, and shipped a new detail view for tracking an automation run end to end.

💳 Billing and Usage Get Real Visibility
Shipped
Users can now see their own usage broken down by category over time, workspaces on custom contracts sync automatically with Metronome instead of drifting out of date, credit warnings now name only the specific pool that's low, and operators can manage a workspace's billing package directly from Sauron.
Led by Sharath
🧹 Customer Workspace Lists Stay Clean of Internal Accounts
Shipped
Zig's own team members no longer show up in a customer's workspace member list, and internal-only workspaces no longer eat into the number of workspaces an operator can see at once.
Led by Sharath
📱 Mobile App Polish Ahead of Ai4
In progress
Going through the mobile app end to end to get it ready for the Ai4 conference: the contact scanner now extracts details in the background while a list is being picked instead of blocking, keyboard-cover issues across follow-up email cards are fixed, and a fix for the Android menu bar covering the "refine with AI" action is in progress.
Led by Karthick
💰 Self-Signup Payment Flow Taking Shape
In progress
Continued building the payment and billing side of self-signup, on top of the workspace-provisioning work already in review.
Led by Sudhanshu
🧭 Smarter Outreach Creation, In Review
In progress
A new way to create an outreach campaign directly from a sample contact, without first picking a lead list, is in review — part of a larger rework of how Zig plans and generates outreach messages using the Skynet engine.

Open items the team is actively working through.

Custom Metronome plans can make an account unreadableIn review
A billing-account validation error surfaced this week tied to how custom credit plans sync from Metronome; came up alongside a customer-success question about a Starter-package account's credit consumption. A fix is in review.
Campaign stuck "setting up"Under review
Reported internally by Tony on Jul 29 — a new campaign didn't finish setting up after an hour. Engineering acknowledged the same day; still being looked into.
Nobilite feature requests queuedBacklog
Bulk upload of lead-list titles and creating outreach drafts without first selecting a lead list were both requested this week. Logged as backlog enhancements, no committed timeline yet.
